GK1MB is the official volunteer program of Gawad Kalinga. It is a global campaign to raise volunteers for nation building built on a culture of faith and patriotism and a lifestyle of heroism.

GK1mB is an open invitation to all who believe that nations can be rebuilt one community at a time, beginning with the poorest of the poor, by sharing time, talent and treasure.

The main purpose of establishing GK1mB is to develop and maintain more GK advocates here in Australia by registering, volunteering 4 hrs per month in specific areas, being involved in the BIG5 GK Events, Programs and Assemblies.

The GK1mB campaign aims to gather 1 million GK volunteers all across Australia! No one is left behind.

It is a Revolution, a Reality of everyone’s dream and it is certainly Radical! GK777 is happening now & YOU can be part of it thru GK1mB! Register and be counted, find out more and get involved!

How does one become part of GK1mB Australia?

Anyone who wants to become part of the movement must fulfill the following:

1. Register in www.gk1mb.org or a GK event

2. Attend a GK1mB Empowerment Day / GK Youth O-Day

3. Live out the values as stated in a GK1mB Hero’s Card

4. Commit at least 4 hours of service to a GK village and/or Program and/or GK event
