TEAM GK is the new official volunteer program of Gawad Kalinga. Formerly known as GK1MB (One Million Builders), it is a global campaign to raise volunteers for nation building built on a culture of faith and patriotism and a lifestyle of heroism. TEAM GK focuses on “carrying out its various programs for community infrastructure, productivity, child and youth development, community health, environment, and community empowerment”.

TEAM GK is an open invitation to all who believe that nations can be rebuilt one community at a time, beginning with the poorest of the poor, by sharing time, talent and treasure.

In Australia, the GK1MB program was launched last 21 June 2008 and transitioned to TEAM GK on 1 July 2011.
